Sankari Holding is a diversified holding group carrying forward the legacy of the Sankari family, led by CEO & Founder Eng. Yousef Sankari.
The group operates across multiple sectors, including automotive (77 Seventy Seven Auto, Syria’s first electric-vehicle agency) and transportation (ElectroTaxi, the first electric taxi company in Syria), and gold trading (Sankari Gold), investing in and growing a portfolio of subsidiary companies under one collaborative umbrella.
Before implementing ERPNext, the division managed its service-to-project cycle largely through spreadsheets, which created several gaps.
1
No structured way to link a sold service to a project, making it hard to trace which purchases and expenses were tied to delivering it.
2
Without that link, actual project cost and profitability were hard to see clearly.
3
Financial reports had to be pulled and cross-checked manually, with no consistent way to filter data by finance book.
4
Invoice amounts could be edited by any user with system access, with no control over who was authorized to handle them.
5
Employees could receive a new cash advance (custody) even while still holding an unsettled balance from a previous one.
6
This made it difficult to enforce real accountability over outstanding advances across the division.

Benefits
Working with Data Value Solutions, Sankari Holding implemented ERPNext to manage the full cycle — from selling a service to creating and executing the related project to linking every associated cost and purchase to it.
1
The full service-to-project cycle now runs on one connected ERPNext system instead of scattered spreadsheets.
2
Five new financial reports were built, each using the finance book as the primary filter.
3
Financial data is now significantly faster and more consistent to pull and cross-check.
4
Invoice permissions are now restricted, so only authorized users can create or modify invoice amounts.
5
A previous financial control gap around invoicing has been closed.
6
Custody (advance) validation now blocks a new cash advance while an existing one remains open, enforcing real accountability.

Impact
With ERPNext, Sankari Holding’s commercial division now runs its entire service-to-project cycle on one connected system instead of scattered spreadsheets.
1
Clear, real-time visibility into the actual cost and profitability of every client engagement, since all related purchases and expenses are now tied directly to their project.
2
Stronger financial accountability, with invoice permissions restricted to authorized users and cash advances controlled so no employee can hold more than one open balance at a time.
3
Faster, more consistent access to financial data through the five new finance-book-based reports, reducing the manual work behind every report.
